I took my 10-hour break here, and, of course, had to wake up the truck that had parked parallel to me to leave. A good place to take your 30 minute break, though.
Small place.Not a lot of room for big trucks. A few drivers were walking thier dogs and the dogs seemed happy...so if u have a pet, this is a good place to take Fido for a stroll!!
It's a parking area. Nothing special.
Never enough room in these parking areas. But there was NO room at the two truck stops nearby. One benefit of parking here is that there is no restroom. If they were a restroom, every 4-wheeler would be pulling in here to use it. That would disrupt truck parking, which is at a high premium.
I got a nap in..so i was happy!!
Also, at night there are rats that scurry about, eat the garbage and dig holes in the ground that I stepped into one of them & almost twisted my ankle. On the plus side, they have handicap accessible picnic tables, but none of the rats are handicapped.
No facilities, no room, and an overwhelming smell of urine....similar to New Jersey. .
